Why is Huawei Mate 30 Pro Relevant?

Well, ever since the US’s and specifically Trump’s trade war on China, Huawei has taken a bit of a hit, but the Mate 30 Pro should be somewhat of a return to form for the Chinese supergiant company. The newest flagship in their lineup is slated to run Google’s newest Android 10, as well as many hardware and software improvements in order to make it a phone fit for 2019, and the year to come. Significance comes from the fact that the Huawei Mate line of phones is a popular one, seeing a lot of sale in it’s native China, as well as India, so the 30 Pro variant is expected to deliver the very same.

What are the Specifications?

In this feature loaded monster of a smartphone, there are more than a few specifications to highlight, they are as follows:

  • 6.5 Inch top-bezel display with 1176×2400 display resolution. This display is slated to be one of the clearest, and cleanest in the entire segment. Additionally, the top bezel makes it feel modern and contemporary, as with other flagship phones like the Pixel 3 and iPhone XR.
  • OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for drop resistance. Gorilla Glass 6 is the newest iteration of Cornings revolutionary technology, often seen in Samsung phones, it is slated to offer a new standard of resilience.
  • Android 10 operating system preloaded on device. This is especially noteworthy since Android 10 is in it’s infancy, and not too many hardware manufacturers are jumping on it, instead choosing to go for Android 9 pie, and offering an update later on. The fact that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is offering this shows a true dedication to Google’s software.
  • Quad rear camera for better image sensing and crisper photographs. It’s becoming increasingly common to see devices with too many cameras strapped onto the back. However, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro integrates it fairly seamlessly, with all cameras serving a dedicated purpose rather than needlessly being tacked on as gimmicky marketing ploys. The image quality is stable and crisp, providing strong alternatives to the others on the market.
  • 32 megapixel front sensor camera with active noise cancellation and live mic. This is interesting since 32 megapixel is a fairly large front camera, so clearly Huawei is dedicating themselves to selfie enthusiasts on the Mate 30 Pro. Additionally, vloggers can rejoice since the front camera also features a live mic, making for cleaner audio.
  • 4500mAH battery with fast charging, and wireless charging. This is a fairly large battery by 2019 standards, and one can expect it to give even heavier users a full day of battery on a 100% charge.
  • 8 gigabytes of ram preloaded unto device. Fairly bog standard in this segment, however, seeing as Android benefits from ram, expect Android 10 to run butter smooth on the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

Why Should One Buy?

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro could seem like a hard sell at first, since it’s not a big brand like an Apple, Google, or even OnePlus now. However, the most major of selling points is the ability to have technology just on the verge of cutting edge, before it becomes stable and hits the mainstream line of budget phones which always tend to come out following. The ability to have Android 10, the ability to have a quad rear camera. All of these features are ones which are likely not to hit the market until the later date, however, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is an early adopter, which is why you should buy one.
