After lagging behind in the smartphone market, Moto is back with a bang!

Motorola Hyper One smartphone seems fairly loaded with specs to give competition to mid-segment smartphone brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, and Oppo. So shall we begin?

Build

Motorola One Hyper is a well-designed device. The device is Moto’s first smartphone to come up with a full-screen display, without any notches.

The rear of the device has a glossy look to it and is available in three color variants namely Deep Sea Blue, Dark Amber, and Fresh Orchid.

Motorola Hyper One is 161.8 mm in height and weighs 200 grams. The body is a plastic build and comes with a water repellent design.

The display of the device comes with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and boasts a pixel density of 395-pixel per inch.

Camera

There are a lot of changes to this device from its predecessors. Motorola One Hyper is also Moto’s first smartphone to feature a pop-up selfie camera.

For the selfie you, Moto has packed the device with a 32MP selfie pop-up camera. On the rear, you get a dual-camera setting featuring a primary camera of 64-megapixel and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2.

Motorola One Hyper also utilizes the quad pixel technology. So as a default you will get sharp 16-megapixel pictures from your 64-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel pixel-binned photos from your 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The device packs several camera features like Night Vision, RAW capture, hi-res zoom, and fill-HD 60fps video capture.

Motorola One Hyper is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 SoC paired and is based on an Octa-core processor.

The device is backed by 4GB of RAM and comes with an expandable memory of 128GB. The memory of the device can be maxed up to 1TB.

Although the Snapdragon 675 SoC is not the latest chipset from the house of Qualcomm, it will fairly meet the specification onboard on the device.

Battery & Connectivity

The device comes with a battery capacity of 4000 mAh and is backed by a 45W Hyper Charge technology.

Where you will be getting the 15W TurboPower charger inside the retail package, as the 45W charger is expected to be sold separately.

Motorola Hyper One phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, GLONASS, SUPL, and Galileo.

Pricing & Availability

The Motorola One Hyper is up for grab in the US, Latin America, and some European markets for a price of $399.99.

The phone is expected to hit the Middle East markets too in some time.

The phone is expected to sell at a price range of Rs. 29,000. For now, there is no official announcement by Motorola as to when the smartphone will make its way to India.
